Engineer, then educator

About James Wang

I was trained as an engineer and worked on significant transport and technology development in the UK and Germany before deciding to pursue a career in international education. For 12 years I taught Physics and Higher Level Mathematics at top international schools, including United World College, and today I teach DP and MYP Mathematics while supervising Robotics and Machine Learning co-curricular activities and clubs. My teaching is inquiry-led, interdisciplinary, and rooted in real-world applications — I help students and workshop participants break their curiosity down into detailed concepts and practical, coherent to-do lists, and see them through to implemented outcomes.
